Movement Studio Rentals
PearlArts offers two movement studios available for rent, perfect for large group sessions, intimate rehearsals, meetings, and more. With natural light, aux sound access, and flexible seating, our studios provide an inspiring environment for artists and creatives.

Limited Time Offer - Place To Space
Place to Space is a collaborative pilot program by Kelly Strayhorn Theater, PearlArts Movement & Sound, and Attack Theatre. This program guarantees artists access to professional, reputable, and wheelchair-accessible rehearsal spaces through March 2027 at a subsidized rate. Our goal is to serve 100 artists across East Liberty, Braddock, and Lawrenceville by removing a critical barrier to artistic sustainability while investing in a more equitable creative ecosystem for Pittsburgh.
ALL PLACE TO SPACE RENTALS WILL BE RENTED AT FOLLOWING FIXED RATES:
Mondays - Fridays: $5 per hour
Saturdays - Sundays: $10 per hour

Movement Studio 1 - 1382 sq.ft.
Standard Rate: $100/hour
Braddock Community Rate (Available only to Braddock residents or organizations): $50/hour
Our primary rehearsal studio is perfect for large groups, dance classes, or creative rehearsals. Featuring three expansive windows, this bright and airy space is ideal for sunset yoga, vibrant movement sessions, or mindful breathing workshops. The studio includes access to an aux sound system and seating for talks, presentations, and meetings.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 5pm-9pm
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday | 12pm-5pm
Minimum Rental Time: 2 Hours
Movement Studio 2 – 590 sq. ft.
Standard Rate: $50/hour
Braddock Community Rate (Available only to Braddock residents or organizations): $25/hour
Perfect for solo or duo rehearsals, meetings, or intimate gatherings, this 590 sq. ft. studio provides a private and focused space for creative work. With a comfortable layout and natural light, it’s ideal for small-scale movement practices, artist collaborations, or brainstorming sessions. The studio includes access to an aux sound system.
Capacity: 15 people
Availability:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 5pm-9pm
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday | 9am-5pm
Minimum Rental Time: 2 Hours
Locker Rentals at PearlArts
Standard Rate: $20/month, up to 2 lockers per person
Keep your belongings secure and accessible with a personal locker at PearlArts. Available for students and artists who regularly use our space, lockers provide a convenient storage solution for dance gear, personal items, or creative materials. Space is limited, so reserve yours soon!
